SUNGBOON EDITOR Green Tomato Deep Pore Cleansing Ultra Whipping Foam 120g — Korean Low-pH Pore Cleanser with Green Tomato

The Green Tomato Deep Pore Cleansing Ultra Whipping Foam is the cleansing step of SUNGBOON EDITOR’s flagship pore line — a rich, dense whipped foam built around the brand’s patented green tomato to clear sebum and impurities from pores without leaving skin tight. It is the wash that sets up the rest of the Green Tomato routine.

What makes it more than a basic face wash: it is a low-pH cleanser loaded with multiple forms of collagen and a full run of amino acids, so it cleans deeply while keeping the barrier comfortable. There is also a touch of salicylic acid (BHA) for gentle pore clearing.

What the Green Tomato Cleansing Foam Does

  • Clears pores of sebum and impurities. Green tomato and the brand’s Anti-Sebum P complex target the oil and debris that make pores look larger and darker.
  • Cleans at a skin-friendly pH. A low-pH formula rinses away the day without stripping, so skin does not feel tight afterward.
  • Adds gentle BHA clearing. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it works inside the pore — useful for congestion and blackheads, even in a rinse-off.
  • Leaves skin hydrated, not squeaky. Multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, trehalose, panthenol and collagen mean skin feels soft rather than stripped after washing.

Who the Green Tomato Cleansing Foam Is For

  • Oily and combination skin where pores look enlarged, shiny or congested
  • Skin prone to blackheads and sebum buildup around the nose and chin
  • Anyone whose current cleanser leaves skin tight and dry — this one is low-pH and hydrating
  • Those building the Green Tomato routine who want the matching cleanser

A Note on the Formula

This is a soap-based foam — the dense, satisfying lather comes from fatty acids (myristic, palmitic, lauric) neutralized into a mild soap, and it is sulfate-free and silicone-free. Soap-based cleansers rinse clean and feel wonderfully thorough; if your skin is very dry or barrier-compromised, a cream or gel cleanser may suit better, but for oily and combination skin this is a comfortable daily wash. As a rinse-off, the actives have limited contact time — the leave-on steps do the heavier pore work.

Key Ingredients in the Cleansing Foam

  • Patented Green Tomato Extract — the brand’s signature pore ingredient, here to clear sebum as you wash.
  • Salicylic Acid (BHA) — oil-soluble acid that works inside the pore on congestion and blackheads.
  • Seven forms of collagen and 18 amino acids — an unusually rich cleanser, for softness and hydration through the wash.
  • Hyaluronic acid, trehalose and panthenol — humectants that keep skin from feeling stripped. See our hyaluronic acid guide.
  • Olive-derived emollients (Cetearyl/Sorbitan Olivate) — soften the feel of the foam.
  • Sulfate-free and silicone-free — a cleaner take on a foaming wash.

Texture and Finish

A thick, whipped foam that lathers into dense micro-bubbles — the “ultra whipping” texture the name refers to. It rinses completely clean and leaves skin fresh and smooth, without the post-wash tightness of a harsh cleanser.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Deep pore cleansing that doesn’t strip. Low-pH, hydrating, and rich in collagen and amino acids.
  • Green tomato and BHA together — sebum clearing plus gentle in-pore exfoliation, in a daily wash.
  • Sulfate-free and silicone-free. A cleaner foam for skin that reacts to harsher surfactants.
  • Dense, satisfying lather that feels genuinely thorough.
  • The right first step for the whole Green Tomato pore routine.

How to Use the Cleansing Foam

  1. Use as the second step of a double cleanse (after an oil cleanser) at night, or on its own in the morning.
  2. Wet your face with lukewarm — not hot — water.
  3. Lather a small amount in your palms first, then massage the foam over your face for around 30 seconds.
  4. Focus gently on the nose and chin, where sebum collects.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
  6. Follow with toner, then the rest of your routine.

How to Add It to Your Routine

This is step one. Cleanse → tone → ampoule → moisturizer → sunscreen. It pairs directly with the Green Tomato Pore Toner and Green Tomato Pore Lifting Ampoule+ that follow it.

Browse Korean Toners, Korean Serums and Korean Moisturizers for the steps after. Since it contains a BHA, daily sunscreen matters. One caution on the wider line: several Green Tomato products contain acids — this cleanser, the toner, the pads, the ampoule. As a rinse-off the BHA here is mild, but be mindful not to stack every acid step at once. More in how to treat acne without destroying your barrier.
