SUNGBOON EDITOR Apple Peel Glow Skin Soothing Toner 340ml — Korean Glow & Soothing Toner with Apple and Ceramide
The Apple Peel Glow Skin Soothing Toner is the prep-and-glow step of SUNGBOON EDITOR’s Apple Peel line — a lightweight toner that hydrates, soothes and boosts radiance from the very first step. Built on apple fruit water with niacinamide, a fruit-and-citrus glow complex and barrier-supporting ceramide, it readies skin to absorb the rest of your routine while leaving it smooth and luminous.
It carries the line’s gentle glow philosophy: rather than harsh acids, it uses apple, a citrus antioxidant blend and a touch of gentle PHA to refine texture, alongside soothing and hydrating ingredients so skin looks fresh, not stripped.
What the Apple Peel Toner Does
- Preps and hydrates. A watery, fast-absorbing toner that layers moisture and helps following steps sink in.
- Boosts glow. Apple, a citrus antioxidant blend (yuzu, lemon, lime) and a gentle PHA refine the surface for smoother, more radiant skin.
- Soothes. Allantoin, panthenol and eclipta calm and comfort.
- Supports the barrier. Ceramide NP and hyaluronic acid strengthen and hydrate.
Who the Apple Peel Toner Is For

Key Ingredients in the Apple Peel Toner
- Apple Fruit Water & Extract — the antioxidant-rich, glow-giving base.
- Niacinamide — tone, texture and barrier support. More in our niacinamide guide.
- Citrus Antioxidant Blend (Yuzu, Lemon, Lime) + Sugarcane — a natural glow and vitamin-C-adjacent touch.
- Gluconolactone (PHA) — very gentle smoothing, without the sting of stronger acids.
- Ceramide NP + Hyaluronic Acid — barrier support and hydration. See our ceramides guide.
Texture and Finish
A light, watery toner that absorbs instantly and leaves skin dewy and smooth, never tight. There is a light natural scent from the botanicals and geranium.
Why You’ll Love It
- Glow from the first step. Radiance-boosting prep, not just basic hydration.
- Gentle. A soft PHA and antioxidants instead of harsh acids.
- Barrier-friendly. Ceramide and hyaluronic acid keep skin comfortable.
- Layers beautifully under the rest of the Apple Peel routine.
- Honest about glow. Smoother, better-hydrated skin reflects light — a gentle glassy finish, not a peel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this toner exfoliate?
Only very gently. It contains a small amount of gluconolactone, a mild PHA, plus a citrus and sugarcane blend, which give a soft smoothing effect rather than a real exfoliating peel. It is designed as a hydrating, glow-boosting prep toner, not a treatment acid. If you want stronger exfoliation, pair it with a dedicated pad on some days rather than expecting this toner to do that job.
It has citrus and geranium — will it irritate my skin?
The citrus here is fruit extract used for antioxidants, low on the list, not citrus essential oils, so it is unlikely to cause the phototoxicity people worry about. There is a little geranium oil for a light natural scent, which is the main thing to note if you are fragrance-sensitive. For most skin it is comfortable, but if you react to scented products, patch test on the jaw first or choose a fragrance-free option.
Can I use it as an exfoliating toner on a cotton pad?
You can apply it with a cotton pad to sweep away any last cleanser residue and give a light smoothing pass, but do not expect a strong exfoliating result — the PHA level is gentle. Pressing it in with clean hands is just as good for the hydration and glow benefits. For actual exfoliation, the Vita C Dark Spot Pad or a dedicated acid product does more.
What skin types is it best for?
It suits normal, combination and slightly dull skin especially well, giving light hydration and a glow-boosting prep. Dry skin can layer it a couple of times and follow with richer steps; oily skin will appreciate how light it is. The main caveat is fragrance-sensitive skin, because of the geranium scent — those users may prefer a fragrance-free toner.
How is it different from the Syrup Coating Glow Pad?
The toner is a liquid you apply all over as your prep-and-hydration step. The Syrup Coating Glow Pad is a soaked pad with a glossier, more coating essence for an instant dewy finish, and the physical pad lets you sweep and lightly smooth as you go. They share the apple-and-glow theme; use the toner daily as your base and the pad when you want an extra hit of glossy hydration or a quick refresh.
