SUNGBOON EDITOR Apple Peel Glow Skin Soothing Ampoule Mask (23ml x 10) — Korean Soothing Glow Sheet Mask with Apple and Cica
The Apple Peel Glow Skin Soothing Ampoule Mask is the sheet-mask treatment of SUNGBOON EDITOR’s Apple Peel line — a box of 10 masks, each soaked in a soothing, glow-giving essence built on apple and a full cica (centella) complex. It delivers the line’s gentle radiance in a calming 15-minute step, pairing barrier-loving ceramide and cholesterol with the four active parts of centella.
The essence is genuinely soothing: apple extract, a complete cica complex (madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid), ceramide NP, cholesterol, a gentle PHA and layered hyaluronic acid, with a light mint touch and gardenia.
What the Apple Peel Mask Does
- Calms and soothes. A full cica complex plus panthenol and allantoin comfort stressed, reactive or reddened skin.
- Boosts glow. Apple and niacinamide smooth the surface so skin reflects light for a glassy radiance.
- Repairs the barrier. Ceramide NP, cholesterol and glycosphingolipid support strengthen and comfort.
- Hydrates deeply. Many forms of hyaluronic acid plus a gentle PHA leave skin plump and smooth.
Who the Apple Peel Mask Is For

Key Ingredients in the Apple Peel Mask
- Apple Extract — the line’s antioxidant, for smoother, glowy skin.
- Full Cica Complex (Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Asiatic & Madecassic Acid) — deep soothing and barrier support. See our centella guide.
- Ceramide NP + Cholesterol — the skin’s own barrier lipids. See our ceramides guide.
- Gluconolactone (PHA) — very gentle smoothing.
- Niacinamide + Multiple Hyaluronic Acids — tone, texture and deep hydration. More in our niacinamide guide.
Texture and Finish
A serum-drenched sheet that clings closely and leaves skin calm, smooth and dewy after 15–20 minutes. There is a light natural scent from the lavender and mint, and a subtle cooling touch.
Why You’ll Love It
- Serious soothing. A full cica complex, not just a token amount.
- Glow and calm together. Radiance without any harsh acids.
- Barrier repair. Ceramide and cholesterol strengthen the skin.
- Great after sun, actives or a long day when skin needs comfort.
- Gentle glow — from soothing and hydration, not exfoliation.
How to Use the Apple Peel Mask
- After cleansing and toner, unfold the mask and lay it evenly over the face.
- Leave on for 15–20 minutes — no longer, or it starts to dry out.
- Remove and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin.
- Follow with moisturizer to seal it in. Use 1–3 times a week, or whenever skin needs calming.
How to Add It to Your Routine
Use it as a soothing treatment in place of your serum step: cleanse → tone → mask → moisturizer. It fits alongside the daily Apple Peel Ampoule and Cream.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I use it?
One to three times a week is a good rhythm, and it is also perfect as a one-off whenever skin feels stressed — after sun, after using strong actives, or after a long tiring day. It is soothing rather than exfoliating, so it is gentle enough to use fairly often. Leave it on 15 to 20 minutes and follow with moisturizer.
It has lavender and mint — is it okay for sensitive skin?
The mask is built to soothe, with a full cica complex, ceramide and panthenol, so it is calming overall. That said, it does contain a little lavender oil and mint, which give a light scent and cooling feel but are the parts most likely to bother very fragrance-sensitive skin. If that is you, patch test on the jaw first. For most reactive skin, used occasionally, it is a comforting choice.
Do I rinse after, and do I still need moisturizer?
No rinsing — remove the sheet and pat the leftover essence into the skin. And yes, follow with moisturizer to seal it in, otherwise the water in the essence can evaporate and leave skin no better hydrated. This is especially worth doing to lock in the soothing and barrier ingredients so they keep working after the mask comes off.
Can I use it after sun exposure or a strong active?
Yes, that is one of its best uses. When skin feels hot, tight or over-treated after sun or a strong active like an acid or retinol, the cica complex, ceramide and cooling mint make it a comforting recovery step. Just make sure any sunburn is not broken or blistered — a mask is for mild post-sun warmth and dryness, not actual burns, which need proper care.
How is it different from the Apple Peel ampoule?
The ampoule is your daily leave-on glow-and-soothe step, used morning and night. This mask is an occasional intensive treat that floods skin with soothing cica and hydration in one sitting, ideal a couple of times a week or when skin is stressed. Use the ampoule as the everyday workhorse and the mask as the weekly recovery boost — they share the same gentle, glow-and-calm philosophy.
