1. Glide, then pat. Swipe the stick over the area, then press with clean fingertips to blend — patting prevents streaks and helps absorption.
2. Over makeup is fine. Use a light hand and pat rather than rub, and your base stays intact.
3. Thin layers. One or two passes is enough; more just sits on the surface.
4. Keep it clean. Wipe the surface occasionally and always cap it. Avoid swiping directly over active breakouts.
5. Sun sticks: 3–4 passes per area for meaningful coverage, and reapply every two hours of sun exposure.
6. Heat is the enemy. Do not leave sticks in a hot car — balms soften and lose their shape.
